in case you're not in the know...mr. peppermint (aka jerry haynes) was father to none other than gibby haynes (and if you're asking yourself "who's that?"...do us all a favor and just leave SGM now)
he had a CAPTAIN KANGAROO-type show that was on the air in dallas,tx which started out in the early part of the 1960s and ran until 1996
he passed away last year (9.26.11 to be exact)
musically...you can see mr. rogers singing these songs while changing his shoes and putting on his sweater
it could also be a lost butthole surfers album

I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry a few years ago while I was working on a movie called "Balls Out: The Gary Houseman Story". What an awesome fucking dude. And father to a hero of mine.
