on this album...the boys change out of their dirty bib overalls...take a shower...and try to fit in with the rest of humanity...and they somehow convinced led zeppelin bassist john paul jones to produce it as well as play bass on a few tracks

but not to worry...they still keep their charm...and gibby's adventure in aljourgensenland a year prior can be felt throughout the album in paul leary's guitar and king coffey's drums...and gibby even borrows the lyrics from "jesus built my hot rod" for the song "some dispute over t-shirt sales"

this may be a new butthole surfers....but you still don't want them dating your mom
