If you live in or around Atlanta, and care not whether your eardrums be exploded and blown as dust out the back of your head, then head out to the EARL tonight (or tomorrow I suppose) to be obliterated by Floor.
Yes, the Floor. The one who hasn't played in Atlanta since BLT's or something. That one.
And please leave the Torche worship at the door, because this band is far more sinister, far more debilitating, and dare I say...far more better than Torche ever has been (which is saying something).
I will be there tonight (Saturday) rocking the fuck out drinking tall Red Stripes...feel free to buy me one.

I hate that I couldn't get my old ass up there for this. I don't really give much of a shit about Torche, but Floor were the shit.
Hope the show was good - they played Under the Couch when that self-titled album came out. That might have been their last ATL show before these.
Oh god no, James. They did a couple gigs at The EARL and one at Swayze's. Around '02-'03 or so....
That show Saturday night D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D!!!
Drove down from Pittsburgh for Saturday. It fucking destroyed.
While agree that Floor did, in all respects, "destroy", what I am having a hard time coming to grips with, is the fact that I made it very clear that I was making myself available to have my Red Stripes purchased by Shiny Grey Monotone readers, and it appears at least a couple of you were there, and did not do so.
That's a real disappointment.
Otherwise, a fantastic night, the highlight being "Chelsea" which sent me into an embarrassing frenzy of "dance".
Hail Floor!
