RAKE - EARLY SINGLES
Hungry for some old school noise rock? Before Rake ventured off into the weird wild world of improv, experimentation and drone they put out 3 noisy singles. All finding themselves eventually on the VHF record label (owned by bassist and band founder Bill Kellum). As with most noise rock records of the time, songs are laden with distortion in one form of another but mixed in part with an art-rock aesthetic. So it's not surprising the ended up going off into la-la land.
Cow Song / My Fish Died (1990)
Motorcycle E. P. (1991)
Subterranean Marijuana Garden / U.S. TV (1992)
