Label: Glitterhouse
Year: 1989
I think we've pretty much covered Surgery in these pages, so if you don't know what to expect from this release, maybe you could search the archives and read what was said about the band before. That'd be easier for me, you know, so I don't have to type the same stuff over and over.
But, for the record, this 12" has a more bluesy-by-way of-old-SST feel to it. Think of bands like Saccharine Trust or Painted Willie mixed with Jon Spencer Blues Explosion or Royal Trux. Just you think about that for awhile.
And by the way, Glitterhouse was a rad label, what ever became of it? Are they still putting out records? Couldn't I find out this information by Googling "Glitterhouse" instead of asking you guys?

GRAY! Insane - I was JUST thinking about this not 20 minutes ago as to whether I'd ever hear it - nice!
making dreams comes true...it's just what i do.
if that be the case...
why is my bedroom not a waffle house?
Last I've heard of Glitterhouse was that they were heavily into alt-country, americana & rootsy stuff. This Surgery EP was originally on Circuit by the way, but I guess Glitterhouse did the Euro-distribution bit, as they also did that later on for AmRep.
BTW: I left a comment to know if there's any chance of re-upping the Theory of Ruin EP...and another thing...a 7" by them can be found here: http://killingtechnology.wordpress.com/2009/08/19/theory-of-ruin-7/

European Glitterhouse release (GR0079) includes extra track: "Goodtime" (3A)... This EP was never released on CD worldwide!
hi buddy, any progress conc. Arcwelder's "Pull"? sorry for being so impatient!
Yeah, I will get to that Arcwelder in a minute. Sorry, I kept forgetting.
Go back and check the original post in a few minutes (Saturday morning, EST).
All these am-rep posts and not a single Vertigo record up here. I really can't find their stuff anywhere on the internerd. If anybody has any of their records and has the capability of converting them digitally PLEASE put them up so i can leech them shits....word.
I posted three of their 7"s earlier, do a search for them. I'll work on the full length and see what I can do about that.
