coming to a bar mitzvah near you...

after much deliberation...i've decided to post these here
i think you all can handle it

what we have here are tributes to both the misfits and the bad brains...without whom there would may have not been hardcore or "horror punk" (notice that i said "may not have been"...it could've still happened..we'll never know...they just beat everyone else to it)

the bad brains tribute is the hardest of the two (well...except for that moby business)..with a who's who of metal/hardcore from the 90's

and the misfits tribute is made up of mostly fat wreck chords-ish punk mixing it up with the hardcore

so come and let your inner HR and tiny elvis out to play

Mmh, this might be interesting. Not sure whether it will be good though. I mean how can you improve (and that should be the goal of every cover version) on the Bad Brains if you only have half the musical ability and half the voice of HR? But I am certainly curious, so thanks a lot for posting this!

it's actually not all that bad

except for that whole moby thing

but even that would now probably be HR approved

and the "I against I" cover is pretty sweet

The Haste cover of "No Conditions" is sooooo bad ass, that and VOD are worth the d/l alone... I love this cd. But god damn Sepultura sounds horrible with that new guy, thats equally as bad as Moby... Also, NOFX surprised the hell out of me on the Misfits cover album. I'm through rambling. Thanks for the post.
