Ah, the ole "you cover me, I cover you" chestnut. Brilliant!
Two more heavy hitters in Sonic Youth and Mudhoney on this one. Both covers rival the originals in quantifiable "goodness". Word is, Sub Pop had sent a Mudhoney demo to Sonic Youth for their feedback, and the band was so smitten that they immediately proposed this split. Not a bad idea Sonic Youth.
