Kicking it off with what has become a legendary release. Two songs you know and love by the band that launched a thousand imitators...Nirvana. It's hard to imagine how exciting these songs were in 1988, but if you remember than you will never forget, and if you're too young, then, I guess...something. I don't know. I can't relate to "the youth". Just try and imagine being completely entranced by something for months on end because you had never heard a band synthesize the elements of your musical past with new, heavy, noisy future sounds. It was something. Still is something really.
