The first of two Birthday Party posts I will be putting here. Without The Birthday Party I wonder if bands like Scratch Acid, U-Men, Jesus & Mary Chain, etc... would even exist or what they would sound like. Highly influential to a lot of noise rock bands as well as the whole post-punk movement. I can't think of too many bands or fans of noise rock who won't at least acknowledge The Birthday Party as a total game changer.
