Fugazi - Sub Pop Singles Club 7"

Label: Sub Pop
Year: 1989

Singles Club #14
The Singles Club closed out 1989 with the December release of this Fugazi 7" that scorches as Fugazi were wont to do at that point. But, no doubt, subscribers were probably a little bummed to find Dischord Records releasing their own version of these 3 songs as the 'Three Songs' 7"shortly after this version came out. Doesn't diminish the power of these tunes, nor the timeless brilliance of the band, but fair warning...you've probably already got these somewhere.
Sidebar: is the rhythm section of Joe Lally and Brendan Canty the best rhythm section since John Paul Jones and John Bonham? (rhetorical question)

  1. Thanks a lot for These Singles.

And it all goes to show that 1989 was the best year in Music ever!
