If you played a Cramps record at 33rpm (assuming it was meant to be played at 45rpm), would it sound like this? If Christian Death (the real old Christian Death mind you, not the weird post-Rikk Agnew stuff) was less "death rock" and more "garage rock", would it sound like this?
The answer to these, and many other of life's most scintillating queries may be found just on the other side of this download....do you dare? (cue, spooky music and werewolf howl).
Hi Gray!
ReplyDeleteWhat a post!
This exactly was the record my ex-girlfriend took with her when she left me!
I'm so glad to have it back now, as I only had a very bad tape left.
Especially Mamma is one of the best tracks ever released (much better than the lame studio version).
Thanks again!
Sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteEarly Cramps meets an infinitely more effed up Locust Abortion-era Butthole Surfers. The pressing with all of the creepy intros and outros is the best. One of my all-time favorite records.

ReplyDeletehi! any chance of a re up?
